Humanitarian Internships are a non-paid opportunity and experience to further the objectives of our organization. ECH Interns provide important stepping-stones toward self-sufficiency for the children under our care. This includes programs in Peru, Colombia, and Ecuador. In return, our Interns receive professional work experience and other requisites to help them progress in their future career goals.
Expedition fees cover all of the costs that occur within the country a student visits. This includes essentials such as meals, accommodations, transportation within the country (busses, taxis, vans and airplanes) clean water to drink, and other incidentals. In addition, a portion of fees will be used to fund the projects that a student will be working on and for the in country people that run them.
